Ceremony Music Suggestions The Rose Trio is available as a trio or, upon special request, a quartet. Having performed for over 250 weddings, we feel confident in sharing these suggestions with our clients. It is our desire to provide you with a wide range of music samples, but there are time and cost constraints associated with studio recording. To give you a wide variety of samples, some of the excerpts below are computer generated. Please keep this in mind, as the sound quality differs from that of live performance.
Jewish Ceremony Music Listed below are the most frequently requested selections for Jewish ceremonies. We are mindful of the unfortunate association between Wagner’s music and the Nazis. While the Wagner Bridal March is a popular processional, out of respect for survivors, we suggest refraining from using his music during the service.
Christian/Catholic Ceremony Music Listed below are some of the most frequently requested selections. We are respectful of the church setting and mindful to play only music appropriate for the sacred surroundings. If a client requests a popular song, we ask that the church’s approval be sought.
Secular Wedding Ceremony Music For secular ceremonies, there are few musical limitations. Popular music can be combined with more classical selections or seasonal music like Irish music or Christmas carols. "Theme weddings" are also possible. We have performed a "Star Wars" wedding and a wedding featuring selections from "The Notebook". For ceremonies on the beach, we have played "Under the Boardwalk"; a rose garden wedding offered the perfect opportunity to play "The Rose"; a rustic autumn wedding was complemented by music from "Legends of the Fall" and a wedding overlooking Manhattan was topped off with "New York, New York". Listed below are a few favorites for secular weddings. |
